A man has been charged with 64 offences after a 10-month investigation into alleged malpractice at a funeral business in Hull.
Humberside Police removed 35 bodies along with a quantity of ashes from Legacy Independent Funeral Directors in March last year after concerns were raised about care for the deceased.
At a joint press conference on Wednesday, Humberside Police and the Crown Prosecution Service said 47-year-old Robert Bush had been charged with 30 counts of preventing a lawful and decent burial and 30 counts of fraud by false representation.
