Man charged with murders after Vancouver vehicle attack killed 11 people

A 30-year-old man has been charged with multiple murders after 11 people were killed when he drove an SUV through a crowd at a Filipino cultural festival in Vancouver, Canada.

Kai-Ji Adam Lo, was charged with eight counts of second-degree murder by prosecutors and further charges are expected.

Lo was said to have had a "significant history" of interactions with the authorities involving mental health. They said there was no evidence of terrorism.
