Man pleads guilty to raping wife for 20 years

A man has admitted drugging and raping his wife over a period of two decades.

She has a legal right to anonymity, meaning we can’t name the man – who’s in his 60s.

The offences happened in the Stockport area with the guilty pleas entered during a hearing in Manchester today.
