Peter Augustine will be sentenced for the murder of 87-year-old John Mackey.
Augustine fatally attacked his victim as he walked home from a Co-Op store in Manor House, north London, kicking, punching and stamping on him, before taking off with a box of cornflakes and a cottage pie.
