Manchester attack: synagogue victim suffered gunshot wound from police | ITV News

A man who died in the Manchester synagogue terror attack suffered a gunshot wound as armed officers attempted to shoot the killer, the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police has said.

Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, died after Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, drove into a group of people outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Crumpshall, Greater Manchester, before stabbing a man.

Three others remain in hospital with serious injuries.

In a statement on Friday, Sir Stephen Watson said one of the victims of the attack suffered a wound consistent with a gunshot injury, while another is in hospital also having suffered a gunshot wound.
