Manchester United says it will create the "world’s greatest football stadium" with a new 100,000-seat space as plans to regenerate Old Trafford are announced.
The plans, which have been brought forward by co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Lord Seb Coe and are backed by former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will see a complete regeneration of the area around the current stadium, and hope to create a ‘Wembley of the North’.
