Diego’s Maradona’s ‘Hand of God’ football has been sold at auction for £2.5m.

It was famously used in Argentina’s quarter-final win over England, at the 1986 World Cup.
Maradona famously said after the match that the goal was scored "a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God", helping to secure a 2-1 victory for his country.
