US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has criticised a decision by the UK and other countries to sanction far-right Israeli government ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich for "inciting violence against the Palestinian people".
The sanction means their assets will be frozen, and the men will be banned from entering the UK.
The UK is taking action alongside Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Norway.
Israel has called the move "outrageous."
