Household energy prices are expected to fall in July, according to a forecast ahead of the next energy price cap update.
Consultancy Cornwall Insight predicts the average UK customer will pay 7% less in energy bills from July to October than under the current cap.
The energy price cap, regulated by Ofgem, restricts the amount that energy suppliers can charge for each unit of gas and electricity and covers around two-thirds of homes in the UK.
