Saturday is officially the hottest day of the year so far, the Met Office has said, as parts of the UK were recorded as being hotter than the Seychelles.
The UK is enjoying another very warm and sunny day on Saturday, with 30 °C likely to be recorded in the south of England, the Met Office said.
This would be higher than the temperatures forecasted for Athens, Split in Croatia and even the Seychelles.
Monday could be even hotter, with temperatures expected to reach 33C in southern England and the Midlands, which would make it the hottest May day ever recorded in the UK.
