Mexico has been wracked by 24 hours of violence following the killing of the notorious drug lord ‘El Mencho’.
The gang leader, whose full name is Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, was the boss of Mexico’s most powerful crime group, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
His death in a government operation sparked violent scenes with his gunmen battling security forces in the streets of Mexican cities.
