Middle East: Brits urged to leave Lebanon as tensions rise between Israel and Hezbollah

Foreign Secretary David Lammy is advising British nationals to leave Lebanon and not travel to the country, as tensions rise after a deadly strike on Israel’s bordering Golan Heights region killed 12 children and teenagers.

Israel and the US both blame Hezbollah for the rocket strike, but the Iranian-backed group has denied responsibility.

Meanwhile the Druze community hit by the attack has responded with anger to Israeli politicians.
