Millions left without electricity in Cuba suffers two nationwide blackouts

10 million residents are left without electricity forcing schools and businesses to shut down.

Officials from the communist nation have blamed ageing infrastructure, damage from recent hurricanes and US economic sanctions for the widespread power cuts.
