Douglas Alexander, the trade policy minister, spoke to Wilfred Frost on Sky News Breakfast and discussed the government’s welfare bill.

Asked if concessions are about to be made due to a ‘reasoned amendment’ – which has been signed by more than 120 Labour MPs, Alexander says talks are ongoing.
