A woman is dead in Minneapolis after a shooting involving immigration officers, who were conducting targeted operations in Minneapolis on Wednesday. A statement from the Dept of Homeland Security said that “violent rioters weaponized” a vehicle and attempted to run over officers. DHS claims the officer shot the woman in self defense. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey strongly disputed ICE’s defense of the shooting at a press conference.
