Bangladesh’s ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina has been sentenced to death.
She was convicted of crimes against humanity for ordering a deadly crackdown on a student-led uprising last year.
The former leader, who is now exiled in India, was tried in absentia by the Dhaka-based International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).
