More than 20 families push for review of maternity services after baby deaths at Sussex trust

More than 20 families are pushing for a thorough review of maternity services at University Hospitals Sussex after a series of baby deaths and medical failures.

The health secretary announced an independent investigation last June, but the chair and scope are yet to be agreed, with families wanting senior midwife Donna Okendon to lead the probe.

Sky’s health correspondent, Ashish Joshi, speaks to Liz Charlton, whose baby was stillborn.

This report contains details some may find distressing.
