More than two-thirds of beer and wine served in British pubs and bars are short measured.
A new survey from the Trading Standards found 77 pubs and bars were serving around 70% less than the prescribed quantity required.
For the average beer drinker, it equates to a loss of £1.70 every week, or just over £88 a year.
And the average wine drinker would be around £2.20 short each week.
The survey comes as the cost of a pint and other drinks hits an all-time high.
