More western countries recognize Palestinian state

France is expected to recognize the state of Palestine during a summit later today in an attempt to pile pressure on Israel as it presses on with its campaign in Gaza despite international outrage. Britain, Canada, Australia and Portugal formally recognized Palestine yesterday. #CNN #News
