A mother and her two children have been killed in a fire which broke out inside their family home in Gloucestershire on Boxing Day.
Emergency services were called to a property on Brimscombe Hill, near Stroud, in the early hours of Friday, 26 December.
Crews arrived and found the fire was "well-established", with the husband outside the house trying to gain entry to the property.
He attempted to rescue his wife, who was in her 30s, and two children – a girl aged seven and a four-year-old boy – but was beaten back by the severity of the blaze.
