The government has announced plans to review the way killers are sentenced in the wake of the Nottingham attacks which led to the deaths of Barnaby Webber, Grace O’Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates in June 2023.
Emma Webber, mother of Barnaby Webber, spoke to Sky News as the review into the murder sentencing was announced by Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood.
She said that the family will "will never accept" the manslaughter sentence given to Valdo Calocane, due to his paranoid schizophrenia.
