One of the pilots of the plane stabbed his co-pilot and appeared to try to crash the plane, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said, as Israeli officials said they were investigating if the incident was an attempted terror attack on Israelis.
Yasmin Abukasis, whose daughter Miriam was on the flight, said she told her she heard screaming and saw a man pull out a knife and force the pilot to the floor.
