Mourners are attending the funeral of journalist Saed Abu Nabhan who was killed by Israeli forces whilst covering an incident at Nuseirat refugee camp.

Israel launched its assault on the Gaza Strip after Hamas fighters stormed across its borders in October 2023 in a deadly attack. At least 160 journalists and media workers have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists.
The IDF are yet to comment on the latest fighting.
