Mourners gathered at a church on Tuesday for a vigil in memory of Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, one of three children killed in Southport last week.

People brought flowers and toys to the service, after which white balloons were released into the air. Alice succumbed to her injuries the day after the attack. Two other girls, Elsie Dot Stancombe and Bebe King were also killed. The stabbings have triggered disinformation-fuelled riots and unrest across the UK
