MPs to debate banning mobile phones in schools across the whole of the UK

A Labour MP is trying to bring in a new law that would force schools to put a blanket ban on children using mobile phones.

It would also raise the age of internet adulthood from 13 to 16, pushing up the age at which companies can get data consent from children without parental permission.
