Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has told ITV News he wants "much tougher action taken" after seeing ITV News exclusive videos of illegal migrants crossing the Channel by boat as French police watched on.
Sir Keir Starmer was shown the clips while visiting Albania to push for a crackdown on people-smuggling gangs. There, he announced the Government is starting talks to send failed asylum seekers to third countries whilst they await deportation.
But the Albanian Prime Minister didn’t sound keen on his country becoming one of these so-called "hubs".
