Myanmar earthquake: Moment woman pulled alive from rubble after four days trapped | ITV News

The 63-year-old woman was freed after rescue efforts in the capital Naypyidaw.

The death toll from Friday’s earthquake in Myanmar has risen to more than 2,700, with hundreds still missing, the country’s military government confirmed on Monday.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the head of Myanmar’s military government (Junta), said on Tuesday that 2,719 people have been confirmed dead, 4,521 are injured, and 441 remain missing.
