Myanmar military junta accused of bombing raid hours after quake

The devastation left by the Myanmar earthquake is the worst seen in Asia for a hundred years, the Red Cross has warned, with at least 1,700 people confirmed to have died and thousands more injured. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Foreign aid is arriving, but rescue teams are still struggling to access some of the worst hit areas.

That’s left some local people digging through rubble by hand, while government forces have continued to attack rebel held areas – even after the quake.
