In this tiny town outside Melbourne Australia five people sat down for a family lunch.
Within a week three of the guests had died, another is fighting for their life whilst the one who cooked the meal is being investigated for murder.
Their meals were believed to be laced with the worlds most poisonous mushroom – the death cap.
Erin Patterson, who invited her former in laws Don and Gail, and Gail’s sister Heather and husband Ian to a gathering at her home
Don, Gail and Heather died after eating the meal – whilst Ian is still in a critical condition
Police still can’t say if this was an accident or if there’s other motives behind this story
