Nagorno-Karabakh: Ceasefire agreed after dozens killed in Azerbaijan military offensive

After 24 hours of intensive bombardment, the President of Azerbaijan claims it has restored its sovereignty "with an iron fist" over Nagorno-Karabakh.

The disputed enclave lies within – and is internationally recognised as part – of Azerbaijan but has been administered by the ethnic Armenian majority there.

They said at least 200 people have been killed in the fighting, 10 of whom were civilians.
