NASA update after US crewed mission to moon delayed

The crew for Artemis II will speak from the Kennedy Space Center after the wet dress rehearsal, which simulates the countdown sequence to catch any snags or issues before flight, was cut short and delayed due to a liquid hydrogen leak.

For the first manned moon mission in decades, NASA plans to launch a nearly 10-day mission which will send the astronauts past the moon, around the mysterious far side and then straight back to Earth, with the goal of testing the capsule’s life support and other vital systems.

The people speaking in the news conference will be:

🔴 NASA Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya
🔴 Lori Glaze, acting associate administrator for the Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate
🔴 Shawn Quinn, program manager, Exploration Ground Systems
🔴 John Honeycutt, chair, Artemis II Mission Management Team
