Nearly 700 people killed in Gaza since Israel broke ceasefire, Hamas says

Nearly 700 people have been killed in Gaza since Israel broke the ceasefire and resumed the war last week – 65 in the last 24 hours alone, according to the Palestinian health authorities.

Israel says it struck over 100 pickup trucks saying they were used for "terrorist purposes".

One of those killed when his vehicle was hit was a journalist working for Al Jazeera.
