Iran is ready to resume negotiations, provided a ceasefire can be reached – that was the assessment of the French government today. Iran’s foreign minister says he will meet his British, French and German counterparts in Geneva tomorrow.

But as Israel’s offensive against Iran entered its seventh day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that he was committed to "destroying the nuclear threat aimed at our annihilation".
Overnight Israel’s military said it targeted the Khondab nuclear site near the Iranian city of Arak as well as nuclear sites near Natanz and Isfahan.
Meanwhile, Iran continued to fire missiles at Israel. One hit a hospital in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva, but there were no serious injuries.
