Netflix show uses generative AI for the first time: what does this mean for the future? | ITV News

The Netflix show ‘The Eternaut’ has become the first tv show produced by the streamer to use generative AI.

Ted Sarandos, the co-chief executive of Netflix said that the use of AI would help them make ‘cheaper’ and ‘better’ films and tv series.

For some in the industry though, the increasing use of AI is becoming a worrying trend for the future.
