Security camera video has been released showing the man charged with the attempted murder of President Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Footage shows Cole Tomas Allen sprinting through a security barrier holding a gun. Police respond immediately, with the officer in the bottom left of the image appearing to fire towards him.
Mr Allen is in custody awaiting trial, having not entered a plea when he appeared in court earlier this week.
