Police in New Orleans have released footage which they say confirms that the attacker who killed 14 people on New Year’s Day fired at officers before he was shot and killed.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a truck into people celebrating on the city’s famous Bourbon Street in an act apparently inspired by the Islamic State terror group – before being surrounded.
