The number killed when a truck drove into crowds celebrating in a busy New Orleans street on New Year’s Day has risen to 15, and the first victims are starting to be named.
New Orleans police chief Anne Kirkpatrick called the suspected terror attack "evil" and eyewitnesses have described what the aftermath was like, saying there were "bodies all up and down the street".
