New shadow justice secretary appointed by Tory Party

Robert Jenrick’s replacement as shadow justice secretary has said people are "sick of the backstabbing" in politics.

Nick Timothy was handed the post after Mr Jenrick was sacked by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, before he defected to Reform.

He insisted the Conservatives were now more united than they had been for years.
