US President Donald Trump announced plans to sell US weapons to European allies, who would then supply them to Ukraine. His comments came during a White House meeting with NATO chief Mark Rutte. The deal includes US-made missiles, ammunition, and much-needed Patriot missile defense systems. Trump has also threatened to impose secondary tariffs of 100% on Russia and countries that trade with it — in an attempt to bring the war in Ukraine to an end.
