On the first day of the ceasefire, Israel imposed a curfew, forbidding Lebanese people from crossing into the south of the country.
The deal, brokered by the US and France, came into force in the early hours of Wednesday, prompting traffic jams as thousands tried to return home to southern Lebanon.
