A man who’s waited for over 20 months to have surgery on an abscess that "hugely impacts" his life, has had his procedure delayed due to NHS strikes.
Junior doctors and consultants in England are due to take joint strike action over four days across September and October, adding to the 800,000 appointments already cancelled since health worker strikes began 8 months ago.
