No mention from their statement of their brother Nick, accused of killing their parents.
The 34-year-old made his first court appearance in Los Angeles yesterday for double murder, handcuffed and dressed in a blue, padded suicide prevention vest used in prison.
Reiner, who is being held without bail, did not enter a plea and his arraignment has been delayed until January.
