Nigel Farage celebrates “VICTORY FOR DEMOCRACY” as Keir Starmer confirms election U-turn

Nigel Farage has celebrated a huge "victory for freedom and democracy" after Keir Starmer performed another U-turn.

The Prime Minister was forced to abandon his plans to cancel elections after the Reform UK leader launched legal action in the High Court.

Ministers today confirmed that the legislation would be revoked after the department received legal advice warning that the potential postponement could be deemed illegal.

Speaking to Alex Armstrong on GB News, Farage said: "It’s a legal victory. It’s a victory for our party. But above all, it’s a victory for freedom and democracy."
