From the north west coast of to the western fringes of the capital, ITV News’ journey over the past few weeks has revealed just how deep the fissures are in this divided kingdom.
In Blackpool, we saw how migration can pitch some of the poorest people in the land against those with even less.
In Wolverhampton, racially motivated violence is again instilling fear in the local community.
This week, we went to the village of Stanwell, where a hotel continues to house single male asylum seekers despite the protests, over a hundred consecutive nights, of local people.
What was noticeable was the number of children on the march.
