'Nothing to suggest this is a terrorist incident': Police give update on Huntingdon train stabbings

The British Transport Police’s Superintendent John Loveless gave an update on the mass stabbing on a train heading from Doncaster to London King’s Cross.

He said: "Within eight minutes of a 999 call being made two men were in police custody.

"These were a 32-year-old male, a black British national, and a 35-year-old male, a British national of Caribbean descent."

He added they were both born in the UK and both were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
