‘Nothing will bring her back’: Mia Janin’s father speaks after inquest

Mia was a 14-year-old pupil at the Jewish Free School in Kenton, north-west London, who killed herself in March 2021. An inquest revealed she was subjected to a vicious campaign of bullying by male pupils at school and online, where she was targeted in a boys-only Snapchat group. Mia’s father, Mariano Janin, told reporters it was a relief the extent of her bullying had been recognised three years on. He then went on to call for accountability and said he felt justice had not yet been served
