Officials say investigation teams are on site after the Toronto plane crash

Chief Executive of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority Deborah Flint, says she’s "grateful" there was no loss of life after a plane flipped onto its roof while landing at an airport in Toronto.

During a press conference, Ms Flint praised the work of the crew who "heroically" led passengers to safety and says the emergency services conducted a "textbook response".

Out of the 80 people on board the aircraft, 21 people went to hospital. 19 have now been released, while two remain in hospital.
