Police in West London have been praised after video emerged of plain-clothed officers stopping a robbery.
Two thieves broke into an opticians in Chiswick, before a number of officers stopped them.
Speaking to Andrew Pierce and Bev Turner, Shabnam Chaudhri, a former Detective Superintendent at Scotland Yard, praised the operation, saying: ‘It really gave me a warm feeling of what policing was like two decades ago. This kind of policing was the norm.’
