One British passenger has survived a plane crash involving a Gatwick Airport-bound jet which crashed in a fireball shortly after take-off in India.
A local police commissioner told news agency ANI that the British national was in seat 11A on board the flight bound for London Gatwick and is now in hospital undergoing treatment.
More than 200 bodies have been recovered but it’s not known how many of those victims were on the place, or on the ground when the plane crashed.
There were 242 people on board – including 53 British nationals.
