Since the conflict began, over 67,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli military action in Gaza; more than a third of them are children.
Behind those numbers are the countless Palestinian families struggling to survive.
ITV News has followed the story of one mother who was separated from her premature baby, Saida, on the eve of war.
